If you want to create diagrams or flowcharts in Visio that are based on data from Excel, you can link and automatically update Excel charts into Visio. This way, you can ensure that your diagrams always reflect the latest information from your data source. Here are the steps to follow:

1. In Excel, select the chart or range of cells that you want to link to Visio, and copy it to the clipboard.
2. In Visio, on the Home tab, click Paste – Paste Special.
3. In the Paste Special dialog box, select Paste link, and then choose Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object from the list.
4. Click OK. The Excel chart or range of cells will appear as an object in Visio.
5. To resize or move the object, use the handles on the corners and sides. To edit the object, double-click it. This will open Excel and allow you to make changes to the data or formatting.
6. To update the object in Visio after making changes in Excel, right-click the object and select Update Link. Alternatively, you can set the object to update automatically whenever you open or save the Visio file.
