Today, I’m going to challenge myself to see if I can hyperlink to any page in Word without breaking a sweat. Let’s find out if this hack really works! To create a hyperlink in PowerPoint that directs to a specific page in a Word document, you need to use bookmarks in Word and then link to those bookmarks from PowerPoint. First, open your Word document and select the text or item you want to bookmark. Go to the Insert tab, click on Bookmark, and give your bookmark a name that begins with a letter and contains no spaces. Once your bookmark is set, switch to PowerPoint and select the text or object you want to use as a hyperlink. Click on the Insert tab, then Link, and in the address field, type the file path to your Word document followed by a pound sign (#) and the name of your bookmark. This will create a direct link to the specific location in your Word document. Remember, the Word document must be closed when you create the hyperlink in PowerPoint. When you click on the hyperlink during your presentation, it will open the Word document to the location of the bookmark. #powerpoint #msword
