If you want to work with a split screen in Microsoft Project, you can follow these steps:
– On the View tab, in the Split view group, select the Details check box. Next to the check box, pick the view you want for the bottom half of the screen. For example, you can choose Task Form, Resource Form, Task Usage, or Resource Usage.
– Select a task or resource in the top view. More detail appears about the selected item in the bottom view. You can edit the information in either view as needed.
– To get rid of the split at any time, double-click the double line between the top and bottom views.
A split view allows you to see two different types of project information on your screen at the same time. For example, you can drill down into the details about a specific task without losing the big picture shown in the Gantt Chart. You can also customize which columns are visible in each section by clicking Table Options next to each section’s title. A split view can help you optimize your productivity and manage your project more effectively. How to work with a split screen in Microsoft Project. Microsoft project tutorial.
