How to save a theme and set it as default in Microsoft PowerPoint
This is a Microsoft PowerPoint tutorial covering how to create a theme, save it and set it as a default theme. There are two main ways to create a theme. The first method involves creating new colours and fonts within the Slide master view. The colour and fonts will be displayed in slide master view then this and any other modifications can be saved as a theme. To set a theme as default simply right click on any highlighted theme and set as default. The second method is as follows:
To save a theme and set it as default in Microsoft PowerPoint, follow these steps:

1. Open the presentation that contains the theme you want to save.
2. On the Design tab, click the More button in the Themes group.
3. Click Save Current Theme.
4. In the Save Current Theme dialog box, enter a name for your theme and click Save.
5. To set the theme as default, go to File – Options – Save.
6. Under Default personal templates location, browse to the folder where you saved your theme and select it.
7. Click OK.
