Outlook Training


The Outlook training courses is a one day course covering all the basic elements, such as calendar , email , tasks.  Users will learn how to use conditional formatting and change default Outlook views.  Delegates will create and use rules to manage emails and organise emails in to folders using Quick Steps.

Venue & Duration: Newcastle Training Room. 1 Day Duration. Free sandwich lunch is provided and parking is available.

Learn about all the Microsoft Outlook elements, such as Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Journal and Emails.
Learn how to create an Appointment in your calendar and how to invite others.
Learn how to share your calendar and create different Views.
Learn you  to use Categories and sort and filter on them.
Learn how to embed information in an appointment.
Learn how to create a Task list and how the To Do list works.
Learn how to assign tasks in Microsoft Outlook.

Part Two
Learn how to share Tasks and change Views in Microsoft Outlook.
Learn how to filter and add customised fields in to your Task list.
Learn how to use the Journal to track usage in Microsoft Excel, Word etc.
Learn how to use Notes in Microsoft Outlook.
Learn how to create Search Folders and search form information in Microsoft Outlook.
Learn how to create a Folder list and set rule to automatically populate folders.

Part Three
Learn how to send and receive emails.
Learn how to use email options.
Learn how to assign permissions so other users can answer emails and make appointments.
Learn how to use the email tacking features and how Outlook options work.
Learn how to use the Mail merge feature in Microsoft Outlook.
