Training in the modern office

What should Admin staff be able to do in Excel?
What should they know about Word?
Are they aware of Access and what it is?
These are questions all managers should be asking.  Check out skills using our training needs analysis sheets.
In my opinion they should be able to use basic functions and link sheets in Excel.  They should understand how templates work in Word and not use save as, they should know how to create queries and reports in Access.  Nothing too advanced for basis users but a minimum standard for all office workers.
